Would it be possible to not have the black background on the cover page for the print version of the EAs?

Currently, when printing a 40 page EA (including the cover) the cover accounts for up to 20-30% of the ink comsumption.

I just updated the 'print' PDF for EA6 so that the first page no longer has the black background.

Also I added an 'unmarked' starport map to both the screen and print version at the back of the PDF, as requested by another user.

Thank, that makes it easyer on the toner when printing.

I just emailed a message regarding this. I was very disappointed to see the print version did *not* have a black background on the cover. I would think it would be easy enough to include both covers in the save pdf. I understand the need of some to save on ink/toner costs. I do not have that particular need and prefer a nice printout.

By the way, the cool picture would be nice for a cover to the Through The Waves supplement. Why wasn't it included in the supplement? Same reasons?

There is a nice picture on TA8 - the first PDF went out without the front art work, as people were demanding the next TA. Hunter re-issued it a but later with the new cover.

Hunter - correct me if I am wrong.

You can just re-download the Ta if you want to get the version with the nice picture.

I just downloaded it. It must have just been posted 'cuz the time stamp is a couple of hours from now...time zone diff. Thanks for the beautiful artwork.

Now if we can convince him that the EPIC adventures look good with color covers, I'll be there.
