Rewards for rescue mission

My players just rescued a high level exec of a megacorp and her daughter, as well as a Director of Operations for same said company. What would be a good cash reward for this? I'm thinking of giving them the choice of credits or a six month on/six month off contract with the company that involves them having the use of a Far Trader. Company will pay operating costs, for the six month on period. How realistic is this? Thanks for any input.

One might expect senior executives to have risen to such a high position by using everything and everyone they could to get there. They would try to persuade the adventurers that working for the company is in fact a reward, and that increasing the company's profits is in fact the company doing them a favor.

Or one might expect senior executives to have risen to such a high position by being extremely competent, natural leaders that know the value of rewarding people that do good work for them, like saving their lives.

Why does everybody expect that anybody that works for a corporation is inherently evil?!?

lots of extremely competent people would endeavor to rise to such a high position. one might consider what distinguishes the one that succeeds from those thousands that fail when the company bottom line is the metric for success and failure.

besides, it's not all that evil for him to say, "you boys helped me out, and have I got a job for you! chance of a lifetime!" etc. two birds with one stone and all that.
