Scout Service Birthday Cake

Masirig

SOC-1
Greetings all!

Firstly, profuse apologies if I've posted this in the wrong place (I'm known for it apparently). If I have, please shift it to where I ought to have posted.

I hope no-one minds my first post being a question, but this has been bugging me for days, namely...

A good friend of mine, and long standing Traveller GM (so I have to be nice to him!) has a birthday coming up and I foolishly offered a Traveller themed cake for the forthcoming celebration. He has a favourite Scout character and I figured it might be nice to have the IISS Ponii logo on the cake. Now I know I've seen an IISS Ponii logo online somewhere, but can I find it?

I've been searching for days with no luck and was wondering if any of the kind souls on the forum might be able to point me in the right direction? Please *grovels.*

Many thanks in advance for any assistance.

Best,
Masirig

Dan,

Many thanks, that graphic will do nicely! Thanks also for the warm welcome, I'll try and post more often once I've found my way round this place. :)

Best,
Masirig

Hi Masirig,

When I was sourcing images to use in that blog post (thanks for the mention, Dan) I just ran a search in Google Images for traveller xboat. Amongst images from various Traveller books, Traveller maps, and starships, were both the coloured image of the poni express and a black and white image (also on that page of Google images) - the latter is the one I remember from an article in an early issue of Journal of the Travellers' Aide Society, but I ended up using the coloured one as I liked it better.

Hope your cake is successful

Regards

David,

Many thanks! I've taken your advice and think I may just have what I needed. I'm very impressed with your blog BTW, I've been hanging out there quite a bit over the past couple of days.

Best,
Masirig
