Searching the CT CD

I copy them to the HD, and just use MacOS's built in search features.

Ditto for Windows, and the various on-line places I've stored the CDs (and must be careful not to go through at work, as they pay me to work, not look at Traveller goodness!)

Awesome!

Thanks Everybody!

EDIT: I can't seem to get it to search all of the pdfs at once in Win 10. Is there a way to do that?

I use Adobe PDF Reader on an old Windoze machine. The "Advanced Search" function under the "Edit" pull-down allows me to search "All PDF Documents in" my "Canonical Reference" folder for specific character strings.

For example, an advanced search turned up a total of 32 documents with 232 instances of the word "colony".

That worked great! I just got 29 documents with 336 instances of the word 'Regina'. This will be very helpful.

Thanks!
