Seeker Gaming Systems

Has anyone recently done business with Seeker Gaming Systems?

http://www.seekergamingsystems.com

I ordered some deck plans but I am experiencing communication issues. Should I be concerned?

Perhaps--the site doesn't inspire confidence; nothing under any product tab save Traveller and especially nothing at the end of the about us link.

I write in sadness because The folio bundle in PDF tempts me.

SGS has been in business for well over a decade - about 2 decades now, I think... but it's a tiny company that AFAIK, only has done plans — deckplans and building plans — and only for 2-3 games - Traveller (going back to MT era or before), and IIRC, Shadowrun and CP2020. I have used, but never bought, their deckplans in the past. If I'd been big on plans, I'd have bought. Nice stuff in the past.

My deck plan bundle and folio adventures bundle arrived today. All of them look great! The deck plans are very nice. Each is in an envelope and includes a stapled booklet, and then multiple 11"x17" deck plans on blue paper, with 1/2" squares.

I noticed they just added some FASA plans as well to the website. I am tempted.

I liked the Folio's.
Looks like a website update, cool. Had I actually looked I might have mentioned it.
Doubt they would drop off the face of the known universe after a website rebuild.

I have to admit that I'm surprised that they're still around after all this time - I remember them from the Classic Traveller days, but I'd thought that they dropped completely off the face of the earth during the MegaTraveller era.

Same here. I liked his MT deckplans, and I enjoyed the various points of view of a small ship engagement represented in some of them (Marava, Gazelle, SDB and Fat Trader, IIRC).

I'd assume they're not paying a regular licensing fee of any sort. Perhaps, part of proceeds. Then it's a matter of setting up a website and letting it do the work. It looks like they've entered into some new activities that may be the "bread and butter" of the organization.
