signing off, probably for a long time. not that anyone would or should care, it's just that I don't believe in up and disappearing. when my website is finished I'll post the link on the off chance that a referee or two will find it useful.

I recall how much I looked forward to achieving a thousand posts here. hopefully someone found a few of them to be useful in a game. some of yours have been useful in mine.

marc miller: thanks.

hunter: hope you work things out, coti sure could use a moderator again.

Mr. Martin J. Dougherty: Sir, Good luck with 1248. Signed, Michael Gilliam

tanuki: I'll keep your deckplans page bookmarked.

larsen e. whipsnade: you're cantankerous lately, but your earlier gracious missives still inspire me to more civil communications. thank you.

to those who play: all I ask is an adventure seed and 2d6 to run it by.

Sorry to hear you're signing off.

Thanks for your help with the deckplans for a convention game (nearly two years ago now, I realise, but thanks again anyway).

Good luck

David

Fare you well fellow Traveller. You'll always (I hope) find the board warm here and a light on to guide you if you ever long to return.

I'll second (or is that third ;) ) Border Reiver's post(s) that you make your exit on your 1000th post (or 1001th actually). May I suggest one of the 1000 posts threads?
Perhaps the original (I think) here:

1,000 posts

Flykiller - for what ever reason you see fit to vanish into the void, it is my hope that you remember these parting words from various people. I'm a GURPS TRAVELLER to a large degree, but a TRAVELLER none the less. Your presense on the board here has been an enjoyable one. Your comments have been kindly, and your thoughts have been appreciated. If there are dark clouds upon your horizon, bear in mind that it generally takes the abasense of an individual to be able to determine just how much of a presense the person really had. Your departure will be noted (and has been noted by this one in particular!). Fare thee well.

PS - hal at buffnet dot net is a perhaps decent email addy to remember ;) Don't hesitate to send a message out of the blue from time to time. I'd be interested in hearing from you ok?

Hal

Good Luck and Keep in Touch.

You realy should do your 1000 post on that thread.

Link us to you webh as soon as you finish it.

You will be missed around here.

May you always find a warm welcome whenever you return to toss out another idea to discuss.

Thanks flykiller for your suggestions last January on my "Leviathan" campaign. Even though it's been a long time coming, you really helped with several story seeds at the very beginning when my idea was just a fog of possibilities...
Hope you come back soon.
