Sky Raiders/2300ADish PBW starting

Hi, everyone --

Let me apologize right off the bat for the cross-posting. It's obnoxious and pushy, but I really would like to get the word out to as many possibly interested parties as possible.

I'm recruiting players for a play-by-wiki game that is a fairly faithful adaptation of the old Keith Brothers' "Legend of the Sky Raiders" module into a not-very-faithful-at-all revamp of the 2300AD game setting. I've done a bit of playtesting in F2F with this, once with a purist 2300AD setting and once with a more mutated reboot. This time I'd like to use the mutant setting but also put it together as a wiki game -- which I'm hoping is a medium that allows for a lot more people to participate, giving more interesting party dynamics, and allows those who want to, to do more creative imagining and writing.

The game is one of swashbuckling academia, esoteric crime, and family values -- in the moderately distant future. Pulpy adventure-horror-mystery stuff. With plenty of scope for serious nogginwork, for any who are into it.

A completely accurate, honest, and reliable recruitment blurb is available, or if you would prefer to go directly to the homepage, that's cool too.

(I'd genuinely appreciate any feedback, including negative feedback, even if you're not interested in playing. Let me know!)

Update: Xenoarcheology and other 22nd-century neuroses

We have about 4-5 players lined up and are working on character generation/backgrounds now. I'm expecting we'll start "playing" in the next couple weeks. I've revised some of the introductory pages based on feedback I've gotten; please take a look and see if you're interested.

The short form of the pitch:

* A play-by-wiki game, using the Forgotten Futures rules; no fixed turns or deadlines but weekly reading/posting is expected.

* You don't need to own or have experience with any rules system or campaign setting, whether Traveller, 2300AD, or anything else.

* The story is one of wilderness exploration and archeological research, with mystery/conspiracy elements... and some action & adventure along the way.

The main page is here; take a look at a brief advertisement here if you like.

Aaaaaghghh! I hope you're snickering at the phrasing, and not my atrocious spelling.

But yes. [voice=Russlish]"In Unification Mainline, alien colonize YOU!"[/voice]
