So, about the Gateway Domain sourcebook...

Is there some info about Gateway stowed away on this site that I may have overlooked somehow?

If not, would you (Hunter & Cie.) tease us with the barest of outlines? Races, major political powers, examples for a typical campaign theme, maybe? What makes Gateway unique?

And, of course, when will the book be published? Be as specific as you can, give or take a week--we're not that anal.

Actually we are considering releasing it as both a PDF and print edition. The PDF would at first be a fairly raw document (minor formatting, no artwork) and be replaced with a finished copy when the print edition is released.

This question may have been addressed elsewhere, but looking on Galactic 2.4 the T20 Ley sector doesn't appear to match -- does it differ from OTU?

Likely the Ley sector for Galactic is based on the old Judges Guild stuff which was decanonized a long time ago. Ley, Glimmerdrift, and Crucis Margin have been completely reworked and Gateway sector is based on the material from MTJ #14.

I was about to post an outline of the Gateway book here, but instead watch for one on the front page of the COTI site....

When can we expect the outline, Martin? And when will it be available (roughly) in Irish/UK shops?

Thanks,

Anton

Gimme Gimme Gimme Gimme!!!

Now, Where`s my Time Travel Contraption so I can fast forward to "late summer"!!!

On another note, any news/updates about the Screen and the Player's Handbook?

The screen will have to wait until the more critical book s(rules reprint and Gateway) are underway.

The PLayers book will be out after Starfall, late in the year. We're playtesting a working draft right now.,

I've already grabbed Irdashdis in Ley sector, for the GenCon adventures I'll be running.

Enjoy,
Flynn

How do I get in on the Player's Book playtest, or any other playtest planed for the future?
Very interested in the new classes and equipment.

Wow, this looks absolutely fantastic. Seeing the outline makes me think that the Traveller rennaisance may be closer to realization. The art junkie is awaiting his fix. I hope that this product will be as well illustrated as the original rulebook (not counting the sector maps).

I am hoping that we are going to also see some new art from some of the old names.

Given who's writing this book, the Grand Duchy of Stoner is more likely to be founded by Eugene Stoner!!!

Count that as a keyboard kill.

(In another life I was the unit armorer in a tank company. I know _all_ about Mr.Stoner... Better him, though, than the gentle responsible for the .50" M-85... Grr...)

I am very much looking forward to the Gateway Sourcebook. While I have not bought the T20 book, I will be buying this book.

A large request: Is there anyway to get the Lords of Thunder adventure from MJ4 reprinted? From everything I have read, MJ4 was done under GDW copyright, so Marc should have its rights. MJ4 itself is nearly impossible to get.

So, if you are going to include and allow for that (apparently pivotal) adventure, is there any way for those many of us who have never seen that adventure, get a copy of it?

Obviously, you won't want to include it in the Gateway Sourcebook, but could you release a reprint of the adventure as a separate PDF, or at least as a TA?

Thanks.

I'd like to second daryen's request. I've heard only good things about that adventure, but MTJ 4 is a very rare bird indeed... I can't remember seeing it on ebay in several months now.
