Sowrd worlds

I like it, and I think it is very good

Agreed. The Sword Worlds book contains a detailed and internally consistent setting that's suitable for just about any type of campaign. There are enough adventure hooks in it to last for years.

IMHO, Traveller has rarely been this playable before.

I have already committed myself to buying it...but what are the drawbacks?

eg. like with Humaniti, I was not very impressed with the art nor some of the human races were more GURPS than Traveller.

It's bloody great. As far as I can see, the only drawback is that it wasn't longer
- it's got enough detail to provide a detailed campaign background for any Traveller game (not just GURPS) and it's very well written. Every Traveller book should be this good.

(I may have a slightly biased viewpoint since I helped design the physical details for the planets - sometimes I'm amazed I came up with stuff that worked, given the UWPs and stellar data we had to work from. But I didn't have a hand in the rest of the book, and I know Paul et al. put a lot of effort in to make it as consistent with earlier canon as possible)
