Just curious if any other members are getting a sudden increase in SPAM at the e-mail account addresses registered here.

I received an 'odd' PM here at the board shortly before this began happening so strongly suspect that party was involved.

Not pointing a finger directly but if it weighs as much as a duck it must be a witch.

Nope, no problems here. Could be that the duck has a virus infection and is being mind-controlled by Chinese spies seeking clues about American gaming technology.

There's been no evidence of a hack recently.

But also note: any email you use regularly is going to get spam increases. I sent 5 emails from one account, and it got spammed within days - but those emails were sent ONLY to a relative. I suspect someone ran a sniffer on an intermediate mailserver.

In the US, spamming is a federal crime... but it's also almost entirely unenforceable.

Seriously. the only time I notice an increase in spam is when I actually reply to a few in a knee-jerk angry fashion.

I think the Job Boards get hacked quite often, and so when I put up my resume suddenly I get a little flurry of spam, but nothing major.
