Morning all,

I'm rebuilding spreadsheets and I'm checking that I have the math down for determining the system weight, volume, and price for the launcher. In installment 1 Carlobrand provided much needed help, unfortunately I'm failing to catch on to the process that was explained in the post this time around.

Criteria: TL 9 20 tube 7 cm MRL

Weight of one 7 cm tube from the CPR Gun table is .54 tons.

Per DS 4 each tube has a weight multiplier of 0.01 per tube.

One 7 cm MRL tube weighs 0.54 x 0.01 = .0054 tons with 20 the weight is 0.108 tons.

Volume = Tube weight x 25 which gives the 20 tubes a volume of 0.108 x 25 = 2.7 m^3

The base price of a 7 cm CPR gun tube is Cr20,000. DS 2 states that the price is modified by gun type. For a mortar the formula is 20,000 x .1 for a price of Cr,2000.

DS 4 Price formula appears to be 7 cm Price x Number of tubes x 0.5:

20,000 x 20 x 0.5 = 400,000 x 0.5 = Cr200,000

The specifications for the 20 tubes of my MRL appear to be

Weight: .108 tons; Volume: 2.7 m^3; Price: Cr200,000

Morning Carlobrand,

The numbers look good to me.

Thanks for the review and the nod that my math appears to be right. While verifying the Indirect fire range for the MRL I found I had added the value of 15 to the table which threw the values off, now the future values be right.

Have you had a chance to review the 11 cm CPR gun and 8 cm Autocannon work I posted in DS 2 Striker CPR Gun Test?
