Striker Book 3 Sample Vehicles page 30 Self-propelled AC CBM stats

Morning all,

I've completed the walk through of Design Sequence 3 Auto Cannons using the Self-Propelled AC on page 30 and my CBM stat for the hit DM doesn't match.

The listed CBM stats from page 30 are 21/8/7/+1 and I'm getting 21/8/7/0

CBM round instructions "In addition, CBM rounds have a hit DM which depends solely on bore size, as listed on the CPR gun table."

Checking the 8 cm CBM DM column of the CPR gun Table I see a dash which I interpret to not hit DM and represented as zero.

Am I on track with the hit DM for a weapon with an 8 cm bore?

I thinking that the play tester copied and pasted the CBM example for Design Sequence 2 and forgot to make an edit. Of course the play tester may have had a different CPR Gun Table that had an 8 cm gun with a +1 hit Bonus.

Yeah, either the CBM example is wrong or the table is wrong. Most of those dashes on the table indicate the CBM is unavailable in that bore size. I'd have expected them to put a zero if they intended a zero, rather than the dash. So, the jury's still out on whether it's the example or the table that's wrong.

Evening Carlobrand,

Yeah, either the CBM example is wrong or the table is wrong. Most of those dashes on the table indicate the CBM is unavailable in that bore size. I figured since only weapons with a bore of at least 8 cm can handle a CBM round that the dash met zero. Of course another reason is that when I build tables for lookups the dashes are changed to zero.

So the proper correction appears to change the 8 cm CBM DM entry from a dash to +1.

Now I'll have to make an update to the thread I just posted for the AC on page 30.

Thanks for the reply.
