T20 Deck Plans

There are a number of privately created deckplans based on the T20 rules available on the web. Check the Starport for links. In particular, Peter's plans and Tanuki's plans are quite good. I've got a few of my own too. Between the three links, I think that most of the smaller ships have been created (with the possible exception of the lab ship).

As far as converting old plans to T20, why bother? Just use the old plans as they are. Except for the Scout/Courier and small craft, the plans should be close enough for use. The point is to have fun, and it's unlikely that having only approximate plans wil get in the way of that.

Actually, most are pretty useable. Remember CT allowed a +/- 20% on plans...thats a pretty wide
range. If you have a basic concept of the size of items in CT, or others and T20 you can make your own
estimates and alterations.

T20 is essentially HG based, albeit with slightly finer resolution, and more options.

So, most CT deck plans will be close enough as is.

MT deck plans won't be too close; for jump one craft, they work well. For J3+ they won't be close; not enough fuel.

TNE and T4 deckplans are built on FF&S, and so are similar enough for most uses, but a lot of details changed (3T vs 1T turrets, fuel issues, HEPlaR fuel, etc...) so care should be taken with them.
