T5.09 p200 - GunMaker "Samples"

I Propose

...that the "GunMaker Output Samples" be replaced by a useful gun and armor list, for example recreated from CT or MT.

There are 27 guns listed, and 18 pieces of armor. I'll number them, and we'll figure out which ones to replace.

I think the major change I'd suggest for the Armor section is to replace entry #7, which looks like a duplicate Vacc Suit, with:

It's not quite done, there will probably be some more heavy and heavy, advanced versions yet. Partly I'm trying to get a better grasp of the philosophy behind Gunmaker so I can make sense of some of the results.

With the armor, the missing variants are the ones with negative protection values as that's the point at which the armor is hurting you with out ever getting shot.

His list isn't as random as I thought - not at all, actually. What it needs, is formatting. Badly. But even so I think he should be using "Standard" models of firearms, as I've edited into these posts.

One thing I noted is that his armor list basically negates the need for an armor list in the Equipment chapter. That saves a page right off the bat.

The Guns and Armor examples really, really, really need much better organization! I tried to use it with the meatspace group and it was a mess.

Weapon types being separated would be a great start, some headers would help as well.

According to T5.09, recalculations are necessary here. For example, The Standard stage no longer bumps the tech level.
