MJD or Hunter, could you let us know any more about this one? I've read that it's expanded on the original pdf, but have you got any more details? Extra pages, extra art, extra weapons etc.

I just bought the TA1 Deadtree version and it's fantastic! It's 48 pages of TRAVELLER goodness. I just hope you hurry up and release paper versions of the rest of the series, as I'll buy them for sure!

The errata was edited and a number of patron encounters and an amberzone or two were added to flesh it out to 48 pages. There was nothing added or really changed to the main body of the work.

An updated version of the PDF will be available shortly. If you have the original PDF you will be able to get the update for free from your eLibrary account.

Cool!! But, I seem to have a problem with my e-Library account :( . I bought TA #1 when it first came out, but it does not appear in the list of TAs that I have bought.  Is there a way to fix this?

I just read it (well, I skimmed it) for the first time, and I'm impressed. I don't buy pdfs because I have a slow computer and a bad printer; probably a lot of other people are in the same boat.
Just for market feedback, I have a group of four players (including myself); one of my players is the often the advance buyer for new aides that come out. For a game aide like TA1, I might buy it if our use of the information in the supplement is often enough that I want it as a reference.
Out of our group (all over thirty, two with high income, two with medium/low income) we have bought four copies of the THB and one copy of TA1. The more print supplements that come out, more will be bought, but only one or two of each issuance, I expect. Everyone has the ability to buy a pdf and is very computer literate; no one has bought a pdf. I haven't asked why not.
Hope this info is useful.

I just got the TA1 print version from my FLGS. I have to say that it is great except for two things:
1) The chart for T20 stats is extremely small and hard to read compared to the pages and pages of large fonted, easy to read CT stats.
2) The chart for T20 is missing several weapons, possibly from trying to squeeze the chart onto a single page when it really needed two pages.

Specifically, stats for foil, blade, and all of the laser weapons are missing. There may be others as well, those are the ones that I saw on my first read through.

Is there any chance that this data will show up in eratta some time?

Also, mention was made of a military weapons version, when can I hope to get a copy of that? (I'll need to wait for the print version, PDF isn't a good option right now... :( )

Mythmere & MJD,

As for some market feedback, I think I know why pdf's might sell less. I still have to pay for the printer for my computer, ink and paper. If I just give QLI the money and they print it, it's one direction of payment and no hassle for me with printer snafus.

I don't buy pdf's for that reason. But if someone would *give* me a good laser printer and unlimited amount of refill materials...
