[Terra/Sol Games] Tinker, Spacer, Psion, Spy by John Lees

Terra/Sol Games is pleased to announce the release of Tinker, Spacer, Psion, Spy in both electronic and dead tree products. If you're looking for new Traveller careers please check it out.

Tinker, Spacer, Psion, Spy details over eighteen careers specifically for use in the Twilight Sector Campaign Setting but easily adaptable for any Mongoose Traveller game. In addition the book is filled with options to personalize your character: Pre-adult Career Paths, Life Event charts, Extended Basic Training Skill Packages, Rules and Tips for Longevity and Alternate Injury Tables. All that and details on 30th century languages. TSPS greatly expands the Twilight Sector Campaign Setting.

I think the point Spinward Scout is trying to make is that if you're advertising a new product then you should provide a link to it in your post, either to a page describing it on your site or to DTRPG or another online store (also, he said that he knew where your homepage was and was looking for a link to the product, so I'm not sure why you'd post a link to it again).

Some companies (notably including Mongoose) have a very bad habit of just saying "we've got a new book available" and then not posting links to it at all. There's no reason at all to make people search for it themselves, and just linking to your homepage doesn't help unless there is something right there that is relevant for people to look at (and at the time I posted this, there isn't!).

That said, I think it's perfectly ok for publishers to just link to the DTRPG page for the product, since that includes the ad text for the product as well (and lets a customer buy the product right there too). But at least they should post that link!

Indeed, it is permitted. Product announcements, and links to point of sale, however, belong in the TAS News Feed Section.

If there's a problem (bad links, not a Traveller related product) It won't get approved, but a PM explaining the issue will be sent, so that we can fix the issue. In one company's case, it was a simple matter of fixing the link formatting.
