I think the April Fool's joke was that there was now an overahul to the just recently relesaed 2022 Collector's Edition Update.

We start with the original 6 basic character types: Scout, Merchant, Soldier/Army, Spacer/Navy, Marine, Rogue/Other.cut out all of the rest. Take out everything not related directly to enlistment and continuance, Drop controlling characteristic (whatever that is) and risk/rewards. Give the Scout Service a rank table, the idea of a large organization with no rank structure is ridiculous. Drop the medals. Boil it all down to what is absolutely necessary to play the game.
