TNE Adventures

I'm seeing a couple of adventure PDFs on DriveThru for TNE. When were these published? I actually don't recall TNE ever hitting the game store shelves.

Which adventures are you referring to?

I picked up a copy of TNE and a bunch of the books at a local game store back in the early 90s, so I know it was released.

I bought a copy of part one of that adventure, The Guilded Lily, hardcopy in the store. Parts 2 and 3 were lost when GDW closed, until now.

I just purchased all three. Wow, not exactly the double adventures, nor even the regular original adventures. These are sagas. Several D&D 80s adventures modules rolled into one. Lots of content. Incredible.

Good to know, I may finally pick up the last two to find out how it ended!

GDW was really good about setting up 'sandbox' area with their modules, especially the T2K ones.

Belly of the Beast and its sequel are fan made adventures that have very little in common with the originally planned adventures.

For example the Belly of the Beast was going to be used as the title or one of the titles in the adventures that would take you into Hive Federation space and discover many secrets - Dave Nilsen outlined the key events he had planned in his adventure series but alas it was never even put into pre-production.

Similarly he gave details about the sequel adventures to Guilded Lilly - the players would discover an automated/virus controlled ex-Imperial ship production facility which they would eventually gain control of to greatly enhance the RC shipbuilding capacity, which would be needed in the conflicts to come.

I should add they are pretty good adventures :)

I remember Gilded Lilly making the claim that it provided stats for the entire population of a world. I think there were 35 people total. ;)

I sold my copy a few years back. I don't remember it being all that notable. (But that's just me).
