TNE versus T4 Book 2 SSDS Contra-Gravity

Hello all,

In my topic of self-contained thrusters there was confirmation that both T4 QSDS and T4 SSDS where built using TNE FF&S. T4 Book 2 and T4 Book B FF&S both place contra-gravity in the section on maneuver drives (Book 2), and Thrust Agencies (T4 Book B).

TNE FF&S p. 75 does not allow contra-gravity devices to provide thrust in the same manner as T4 Book 2 and Book B. To make thing a bit worse T4 Book 2 does not appear to use the same requirements provided on T4 Book B p. 65 and the table on p. 105.

However, I would like to verify that I have the TNE FF&S Contra-Gravity (CG) lifters p. 75 down correctly.

TL 12 100 displacement ton (TD) hull installs a standard CG lifter.

The specifications for the CG lifter are as follows:
Mass (metric tonnes [t])= 0.4 x 100 TD = 40t
Volume m^3 = 0.5 x 100 TD = 50m^3 or approximately 3.57 TD Power input requirement (MW) = 0.3 x 100 TD = 30MW
Price (MCr) = 0.02 x 100 TD = MCr2

Have I got the design process of CG lifters down for TNE FF&S?

I'll start a topic on the T4 forum page on my recommendation for matching T4 Book 2 CG Drives with the T4 Book B FF&S Thrust Agencies CG Drive design process. I'll apologize beforehand about not including a table to show what I suggest needs changed. So far I've posted at least two topics with tables which I disliked how much space I used around the table. I've made six other attempts and didn't like what I saw in the preview post window.
