Clayton Bush, is somebody that I learnt about through his writing. He made the Imperium come alive suddenly.

As one of the bright stars of MegaTraveller and his scattered works across the HIWG CD ROM. I shall always respect his hard work and dedication to the hobby during those turbulent years by keeping the flame alive and passed on to newbies (circa 1980s) like myself. The world would be a much dimmer place without the likes of him. His spirit and intent, and kindness by making the CD ROM avialable only strengthens the light of this star. For when a star dies, it shines on, in the form of a supernova. And, Clayton, you were truly one of those.

Clay Bush was the one I really learned traveller from when I was a HWG member back in those days. I did not have much vcontact with him the last few years. Even though he will be missed. I had the fortune to meet him in Milwaukee in 92 when I attended GenCon.

The traveller Universe suddenly seems void and empty...

Rest in peace old friend.

I met him once, at GenCon 96, and had, as part of HIWG, corresponded with him via GEnie and email through the MT and TNE eras. I've missed his presence in the increasingly online Traveller community, but I recall that the 1996 launch of T4 basically put the last nail in the coffin of HIWG and much of the community it had created.

Farewell and Rest Easy, Clay. Those of us who come later to the Last Jump will look forward to seeing you there.
