University XP awards.

Hi there,

Whilst creating characters today I discovered a disparity in the xp awards listed for University attendance.

On the THB pages 122 and 123 they are listed as follows:

..............Grad...Hons
Bachelors...3000...1000
Masters.....1500...500
Doctorate...1500...500

and on the Prior History worksheet they are listed as:

..............Grad...Hons
Bachelors...4000...1000
Masters.....2000...500
Doctorate...2000...500

Which are they?

The Worksheet is in error, the text is correct. We'll get a corrected version posted ASAP available for download here at the website.

On the subject of the Character Sheet, I have a suggestion about the skills section. At the moment it is blank so you write in all your skills (which is way better than the normal D&D-style list, I assure you), but what are the odds of getting the core common skills that all characters are likely to use unskilled as well as skilled put at the top of the list, then the rest blank?

My suggested skills are:

Balance
Climb
Jump
Hide
Listen
K/Homeworld
Move Silently
Search
Spot

I know it's not a big thing, but it would probably be useful to kave those skills, with their key attributtes, etc there (I always have my players write them down so they can see them quickly even if they have no ranks).

In contrast, I really disliked this aspect of the Beta form. There wasn't anything like enough room for many character to list their various specilist skills (Engineers need more T/ skills than there were space for, for example.) Also, having the skills pre-printed on the sheet made it impractical for me to arrange them the way I prefer. I group the charatcer's primary skills at the top, put similar types of skills together, and so forth. I much prefer not having any skills preprinted on the sheet.

The optimum solution would probably be to set it up as a PDF form so you can type the skills you want directly on the sheet. (I can approximate this with Acrobat's text touch-up tool, but how many people actually have the full blown Acrobat?)
