Hiyall,
I've always been a bit disappointed by the limited psionics available in the Traveller universe. As I'm just in the process of downloading T20 now, I can't comment on them.
However, at the risk of jumping the gun, would it be viable to use the force powers from d20 starwars instead of those in T20?
I'm going to be running a TNE game using the T20 ruleset and the original characters are going to be young barbarians from a planet whose survivors have largely decended from a rogue psionist outpost. Later characters once the game gets into space, may be of any class.
I've played Traveller since 1980, but none of my new players have played it before and they are all used to Whitewolf and D&D.
Any ideas of how this would affect game balance, or how hard it is likely to be to port Starwars across?
Also, does anyone have any experience with Traveller's Aide #5, "Objects of the Mind"? It mentions a prestige class, but doesn't mention introducing any more powers, or abilties. In fact, it seems to be more an adventure than anything else. Is it worth it in the context of expanding T20 psionics?
Thanks!!
