The large pink sections centered above & below the turbofan engine look to me like fuel tanks... and considering the width of the fuselage, pretty large ones at that!

The pictures are no longer functioning, but from what is described it sounds like the JET bi-plane that the Polish designed for crop-dusting and light utility work back in the '70.
