version of the core book matter

i like to know is there any ups or down about which version of TPH 3 or 3.5 version matter to T20?? and if so what need info

Ageing is differ
3.0 it -1,-2,-3 for at total of -6 on physical, while only +3 on mental stats
3.5 it is +/- 3 to stats
Great cleave and cleave were changed
item with skill bonuses were limited to +10 in 3.5
Except for the age chart I don't think there are many things which apply to t20 unless you let players use feats and skills out the D&D PHB.


This sounds like a great FAQ t20. It is now number 7

Might be worth seeing what differences there are between the D&D PHB and D20 Modern. I'd certainly be more inclined to use the latter as a base for T20 than the former.
