Well it looks like the TML finally Died.

i logged onto the tml archives and found this from april.

The Server that hosts the TML is going to be shut down in the near future.



The TML is not going away!



But I no longer wish to have to maintain the host server just for the TML.
I am moving all my other mail and web functions to a hosted solution. This
means we need to think about what we want to do to maintain the TML and
carry it forward. I will be happy to help make the transition.



What I need from you, the members:



I am looking for a mailing list hosting solution (unless someone want to set
up one on their own server). The TML currently runs on mailman on a Sun
Sparc server. This server is pretty long in the tooth and rather than
replace it I want to just turn it off. I don't mind a paid solution if it
is not too expensive. Please let me know. I would like to make the
transition by around the end of May.

It seems to have been having a few problems over the last couple of days. Last digest I received yesterday. It included a message from Tod - he's had some health issues to deal with so he wasn't able to fix the TML earlier.

Wow. I thought the TML was dead years ago. Blast from the past. That used to my my main Traveller hang out.

It's been rather zombie-ish for years, but the recent server and software change has been rougher than usual. I'm one of those bouncing even after a subscription confirmation. I'll see if they can get a handle on it, but the list membership has been stuck in 1990 for so long that the list no longer earns its name.

Ok then I will try pining him again, Just the last three weeks I ain't seen nothing. Then I start getting reports that others are getting through to post either... So go figure...
