I would presume that he is refering to the short piece about how on a drive back to Bloomington from a Con (Origins?) they came up with 90% of the idea in conversation. This was especially between Loren and Frank.

"The game" was a war game/political sim created by frank chadwick? for the staff of gdw to play out the years between 2000-2300.It was passed out as a freebie at gen con one year, the year i went.It was very interesting but unplayable(for my needs) so I hope he /they clean it up for redistribution.Some people got to play multiple nations(one guy got ukraine,cuba and ?)My friends begged me to run it but it seemed to have gone thru a couple of revisions during play and i just cdnt spend the time to fix it.It included diplomaitc attacks,which was kind of neat.France gives poland food aid and military aid,France now has pull equal to the amount of aid given,you can choose the number of points to use against the diplo attack russia uses on poland to readjust ther border or something like it ...real cute
