RPGnet Column

Last month, I started a Traveller column at RPGnet, directed at GMs. I've written two articles thus far.

The first give a listing of eras of play for GMs:
http://www.rpg.net/columns/fifthimperium/fifthimperium1.phtml

The second offered 18 plot ideas for when you're caught flat-footed by your players:
http://www.rpg.net/columns/fifthimperium/fifthimperium2.phtml

If you're not a regular visitor to RPGnet, you can keep track of just this column via RSS:

I got tired of waiting Trent, check your PMs if you see this.

Interesting enough, especially for the Traveller novice. Good to see RPGnet promoting Traveller after years of it being (for the most part) dismissed. :smirk:

Keep it up.

Then I'll fill you in on what you just missed. It's a good, solid introduction that does exactly what it says on the screen. If you're a novice Referee, those above links seem to be just the biscuit.

The RSS feed thing doesn't work, though. Needs a look at.

(apologies for messing with your post knox, just deleting the deleted post you quoted as not needed for your helpful reply... )

To be fair, RPGnet promotes what its contributors are interested in.

I'm currently early on in a Traveller campaign, so while that interest burns brightly I'm taking the opportunity to produce some Traveller content for RPGnet (column, reviews, AP).

Anyone else can submit Traveller reviews (from any era), subject to our somewhat stringent reqs on reviews (length, depth), and I'd likely OK one more Traveller column if someone wanted to write it.

We've just never had a lot of Traveller content in previous years, probably in part due to the fact that there are very good Traveller communities separate from RPGnet, like this one.
