One of the new features in the recently upgraded wiki was a new set of "skins", a set of parameters that can make the whole appearance of the wiki substantially different than the normal default "vector" skin, which makes it look like wikipedia.
I spent the past two weeks using the "Forward" skin. So name because it pulls the content sections of the articles into the foreground. And it does this by hiding all the menus (across the top and down the left side) behind drop down menus.
On a mobile device (phone or tablet) this is great to read. The article is the whole of the page, and all of the activity is hidden behind a pop-up menu. If you are primarily reading the wiki on a mobile device, I recommend this skin for using on the phone.
On a computer through the browser the activity menus are now divided into five separate locations. The article is still front and center, occupying the whole of the browser window. It took me a little time to remember where each of the actions was behind which menu. But if you are mostly interested in reading the articles, this removes most of the distractions.
You need to be logged into the wiki to set the skin for your browsing experience. Go to your preferences page, and select appearance tab:

Please try the different skins and let me know how they work for you.
