2D or 3D for Squadron Strike: Traveller?

Squadron Strike: Traveller will fully support both 2D and 3D play. All of the ships will come in 2D and 3D versions.

Seven tutorial scenarios ease you into the rules, starting with a 2D single-ship duel that shows you all of the moves for the first part of the game, so that you can practice the basics and make sure that you're doing everything correctly. Scenarios 2 and 3 stay in 2D, letting you learn about different weapon types and practice maneuvering in 2D to get comfortable with vectors. Scenario 4 carefully takes you into 3D! (You can still play any scenario in 2D if you really, really don't want to give 3D a whirl.)

Scenario 5 expands the 3D rules slightly and introduces a handful of additional weapon traits. Scenario 6 puts the big ships on the table, and Scenario 7 is a Zhodani carrier strike! All of these provide an easy transition for your group into vector movement, and then into 3D.

Have fun!
