3D printed Beowulf

Just came across this, makes me want to get a 3D printer

To beastly for my taste, but the layout is nice. I don't think I'd like to spend a week in one of those staterooms, though...tiny.

Love to see someone build and paint one of these.

It's cool, but it would be hard to do any action (Snapshot) in the ship. You would have to take it apart to go from one deck to another. That said I'd still like to have one.

The lack of seats, beds and furniture can be easily explained as collapsible or folding. It looks like many figures would need to be removed from their bases and made free-standing but that's not impossible. Could be a lot of fun to add details, more internal lighting, cargo, removable furniture etc. Interesting that in 28mm a 40m length is 77cm, so that means a 200t Marava would be about 86cm in length roughly.

They did the scout ship last year as a campaign, not sure if still available but you can check.

My current thinking Is the 1/270 figs might be nice to Cale up to 1/100th. In the they can occupy the table and be replaced with a paper Declan when boarded.

Your best bet is to go with one of the recommended partners on the Kickstarter - they will be familiar with the project and files involved.
