A Couple of Races

on the cover of GURPS Far Trader, the guys with blackish skin and the funny turbans; were these just cool art or members of an actual race?

in BITS 101 Travellers, p13 has Septimus Lither as a "Hyumian". Is this a BITS race, or does anyone have anything on them ?

Sounds like Zhodani to me.

that's what I thought, then I had a look - they're not Zhodani, they're not even human. They're these really tall insectoid looking things.

Maybe the ones on the Far Trader cover were put there by artistic creativity, or in other words they're there just to look cool.
