Because idle paws are tools of the Vargr devil, it was inevitable that a small trader / commerce raider any clan could afford would be designed: the Yeargh class.
Built to TL-13 for both jump-4 capability and ease of manufacture, this 100 ton standard design sports a submersable (MCr 2, 1 ton) Config-L lifting body hull (MCr 4) with wheels standard and lifters (MCr 1). It has fuel scoops (MCr 1) and a fuel purification plant (MCr 1, 1 ton).
Installed are Jump drive B, jump bubble type (jump-4, 15 tons, MCr 15), and Maneuver drive B (4G acceleration, 3 tons, MCr 6) for interception and evasion. Power plant B (overclock rating 120, 7 tons, MCr 21) is installed for ships power.
Jump fuel is 32 tons, and extra power plant fuel ( 8 tons, 5 weeks at full output) is included. Note that fuel usage was reduced 20% due to power-plant overclock rating.
A half bridge (10 tons, MCr 1, 3 crew spaces, 5 consoles) and standard TL-13 sensors are included (MCr 3, 3 tons, uses 3 consoles): Adv Surf LR Comm-11, Adv Surf AR Scope-11, Imp Ant AR Scanner-13. 2 consoles are left, so a Stealth Mask-11 (MCr 1, 1 ton, uses 1 console) is added, and a Jammer-13 (MCr 1.0, 1 ton, uses 1 console) for defense against datacasters and enemy sensors, and for jamming pleas for help.
A mixed triple turret is installed, with 1 beam laser, 1 missle rack, and 1 sandcaster (1 ton, MCr 1.8).
Ship's computer is a model 7 (2 tons, MCr 12.8) with a positronic brain-2 (MCr 1.5) for versatility and 6 x Model 2's (MCr 2.4) each running an Expert System (MCr 1.2) at each console and turret.
Armour is 6 layers of standard superdense-7 (10 tons, MCr 6.5), allowing for great diving depth as well as protection from conventional weapons.
6 staterooms (24 tons) are provided, as is 21 tons for cargo space.
An open topped air-raft is provided (4 tons, MCr 0.4) for a variety of reasons, adjacent to the cargo area, in a hull niche with doors that open onto the back (1 ton, MCr 1).
