Does anyone know offhand where there would be a list, or something I could do as a search, of what adventures took place in a specific subsector, without having to look up each world in the subsector?

Are you looking for published adventures, such as the short Double Adventures and the longer supplements, or all adventures to include those in the JTAS? I have a set of the Double Adventures that I could go through and post the locations, and just about a complete set of the longer adventures as well.
All published adventures, if I can get it. More if possible. I'm thinking mostly CT on this, I forgot to mention.

The closest thing to a list like that, at least for Traveller would be the various lists that are at the end of the online set of JTAS from DriveThru, which covers the JTAS and Challenger.
I could probably put together a list from the Double Adventures and JTAS 1 to 24, as I have those. If I remember correctly, some of the adventures in the JTAS do not really have the subsector or sector mentioned, however.
I assume with your asking that nothing of that sort exists on the Wiki.

A case in point would be the planet Cocta, the location of the Amber Zone "The Ship in the Lake" in JTAS 2. No subsector or sector is given, nor any planetary UWP. A planet named Cocta does show up in the Forever sector, Mowbray subsector in the Traveller Wiki, but that is all. It may or may not be the planet in the Amber Zone.
That adventure takes place on Heya (It was slightly expanded and set on Heya in TTB). Cocta must be an alternate name for Heya, perhaps the native name?

My criteria for a {multiple} placement is that significant plot points (or railroad switches, in the case of Reference Point) occur in more than one subsector. The meat of Safari Ship is all in District 268, so it doesn't qualify.

This metalist has individual lists for sectors that list all the Traveller products that mentioned worlds and subsectors. Hours of fun!

Would you include planets that produce rumors as well, or just the specific planet the adventure is on? In Adventure #1, the Kinunir, several different planets are mentioned, along with some rumors concerning other planets.
Just the world the adventure is on. I was asking to try to make a campaign outline.
