AP bullets - Only for Grenade launchers

Reading the stars at the bottom of the weapons page, it appears that AP rounds are only available for grenade laucnhers and snub guns.

I can understand that both these weapons will have "HEAT" type rounds however there seems to have been an understanding on these lists that any slug thrower can have AP rounds.

I wonder if people consider this errata, my mistake or whether the bulk of the population will swerve away from t20 canon?

Well, that wouldn't make much sense. I think all slugthrowers can shoot AP rounds. On the other hand, if this is true, then all the penetration one gets from a normal rifle comes from the damage dice and that would at least kill the debate about how common and/or standard AP ammo is. I, however, tend to think that anything can fire AP ammo.

I think what's going on here is a failure of drafts of the book to be correlated.

Up to nearly the last draft of the playtest, AP rounds were described right under the weapon table and AP rounds were restricted to only snub and grenade launchers.

It seems that they must have broadened the AP rounds in the descriptive text at the last moment, but then did not adjust the weapon table to match.

That's at least how it looks to me having gone through the play test.
