Artwork in Mongoose Traveller

I suppose they need to be prepared to pay more if they want good art. I would love to do some pen and ink art for the Mongoose books but they just don't pay enough for my time. That and my figure drawing is rubbish! But I can draw decent space ships. Problem as well is everything is computer rendered these days and I dont like much of it to be honest. Far nicer was the CT handrawn illustrations of old.
 
so when I finish my deckplan for the ics high flyer, what would you want to draw it and a few sketches of the outlined characters?

Plus, grayscales are very hard to get to come out well on cheap printing processes, especially the hagiographic processes used for short-run B&W printing. The Mongoose rule books are a graphic demonstration of this issue. Pen-and-ink line-art is much easier to get to render well in this type of medium.
 
My favourite artwork from Traveller always has been the spaceman. Great art like this makes you daydream about what is going on - what situation has created this. It has always been especially lovely to me:
