Azhanti High Lightning render

Still more work to do. But the scene is more than halfway done.

Cool.

If you're up for it, and you would like it in the cover of something, contact Jeff "editor at freelancetraveller dot com". I'm sure he would be happy to have it as a cover for a Freelance Magazine issue.

Best Regards,

Ewan

Shonner,

Each and every picture in this thread has been greedily downloaded and squirreled away in my Vault of Traveller Excellence.

Thank you so very much for sharing your skills with us.

Bill

Here is an early start of modeling the Rampart. It looks like I'll be using NURBS for this one in order to get the edges and curves I need.

A draft so far of the rear. Experimenting still. And there is lots to add onto this thing yet.

Thanks. I'm just trying out some shapes and features for the aft end since the box lid didn't have a painting of it. I totally ignored the Boat Dock deck until now. While modeling it, I wondered for the first time if enemy (or friendly) craft fly into the spinal mount weapon on purpose (or mistake)?

Eventually they would hit something down the tube.

Very nice. Loved being able to see the bridge detail. More Please!

Don't laugh. This bridge was thrown together using my Grand Confort chair model.

I WILL redo this bridge scene with much better Imperium decor and control consoles.

My goal at the time was just to figure out the size scale for the seating. I'll end up re-sizing
the entire model much larger because each chair here is only a few mm high and they are hard to work with
at that size. That's why they are floating.

I'm not sure if seeing this view of the ship from your windshield is a good or bad thing.

The fuel purification plants are still vacant holes to be filled. And the bottom hasn't been modeled yet. This is a test render of the patch paneling used as a texture.

Whipsnade,

I updated the render of the aft end since I first posted it. It was flat looking before.

After a bit it becomes subjective about which version looked better, though.

Shonner,

Before or after, it makes no matter as they both look fantastic to me!

Thanks again for sharing your talents with us.

I do hope you submit a few pieces for the 2011 Traveller calendar.

Bill
