Best adventures?

In Traveller, I have always preferred Patrons to adventures, even the short Double Adventures. They better fit my improvisational GMing style.

I ran The Lady in White three times for three different groups. The setup was nearly identical in all three cases, the truth (and resolution) were not.

I'd love to hear more about the good times folks have had with 76 Patrons. Some of them seem a bit flat, while others have good potential.

I'm assuming "The Lady in White" is Patron 6? I offered that as the start of one campaign but the players were VERY resistant, though they did start to decide to take it on before the campaign blew up.

I'm using Patron 3 (with some bits from the T4 Version) with a different group.

I have run it three times - once reskinned to T2300 - every time it ended in a TPK.

Back to adventures - if bug hunting is your thing then you can not do better then the DA Chamax Plague/Horde.

I just don't see all those Droyne / Ancient laser rifleman woken from sleep as being a counter to two pursuing battledressed types.

I didn't get 76 Patrons until last year, so I don't know. Th e patron is in the Starter Set and I think I originally used it from TTB.

Unfortunately, I am away from all my CT stuff for at least three weeks.

Ah, yes, I see that, it's the same patron as in 76 Patrons. From the patrons I've read in 76 Patrons, it's one of the better ones. And yes, the same patrons are in The Traveller Book as in Starter Traveller (the adventures are a bit different, ST has Mission on Mithril while TTB has Exit Visa).

I keep mulling and putting off a real campaign, so in the meantime I'm thinking of running some published adventures in series. Which, since I don't normally collect and read adventures, raises the question of what to run.

So, what are the best adventures of the Traveller line? I'm particularly interested in Classic-era adventures, as I have the idea a fair number were published that I don't know anything about, but I'd consider converting anything.

The Sky Raiders trilogy from FASA.

The Sky Raiders trilogy from FASA.

I saw it oh so many times on the LBB rack with the brown cover and the biplanes and all, but it was the relative low-tech of the planes that kept me from purchasing it.

I did buy FASA's Far Traveller though.

I don't think I am, but anything's possible. It might have been some interior art or something. It's been decades since I looked at it.

See my post, Rescue on Galatea. I went through the three Sky Raiders adventures and found no biplanes, but I did find them in Rescue on Galatea.
