Capital Ships & Odd Hull designs

Thanks Andrew that was exactly what I needed! Now if only I can find a star and planet spread sheet and generator (ha ha). Thanks again.

Scarecrow, excellent numbers.

I'm going to run home and see what I got for the SW ships as well.

Did you do the original Enterprise?

No. I did the Enterprise A, though and they're close enough that it doesn't really make a noticeable difference.

Cool. Thanks Scarecrow. I have the Enterprise listed as 288.6 m long overall, side by side comparison (at least on the web) shows the Enterprise-A as slightly larger overall. Assuming the proportions of the Enterprise and Enterprise-A are the same, the Enterprise would be 15,875 dTon, where 1 dTon=13.5 m^3. My numbers used 1 dTon = 14 m^3, so for comparison that would be 15,309 dTon.

Wow, amazingly close since if I was off by 1m on primary hull thickness that could change my final number by about 1,500 dTon (1dTon = 14m^3).

I see that you did the Starfury, did you do any other Babylon-5 ships? For example, the various Earth Alliance warships?

Sounds like your calculations are pretty spot-on then =)

I have B5 and the Omega Destroyer in the folder waiting to be done along with a dozen or so others (from various settings) but not gotten round to them yet.
