Classic JTAS Robot Design Rules

Has anyone played around with the robot construction rules from the original JTAS? If so, what did you think of them? I personally haven't done anything with them in years but found myself thinking of them again . . .

Traveller fans may find the system published in JTAS #2 [FONT=Arial,Italic][FONT=Arial,Italic]– [/FONT][/FONT]4 (and reprinted in Best of JTAS #1) more to their interest. Note that the Best of version includes some notes added after the original articles were published, but it is also missing the design checklist from JTAS #3 for the system. The robots appearing in Adventure #2, Research Station Gamma, use the JTAS robot rules."​

Thanks Don, it might be that that note in the errata spurred me to think about the robot rules since I just downloaded the latest version the other day.
