Does anyone know if there was a conversion guide for MGT 1e and 2e?

What are you trying to convert? Except for ships and vehicles (because the design systems are different) the games are very similar.

buying adventures

I don.t have 2nd ed, but I would like to buy some of the adventures and I was trying to get a read on how complicated it would be. The PDF you pointed me to will give me a starting point, thank you for the help and responses.

For ships and vehicles I guess most of them have the equivalent in both editions (e.g. a Far trader exists in both versions, albeit with different design paradigms)
