You rang?
If it is any consolation, it appears that the original AM8 module is missing that table, too, and one was never created. Sounds like something fun to do ...
Hmmm, let's take a look at Book 1 and Supplement 4 ...
How about this:
Navy Captain ... +1 Social
Navy Admiral ... +1 Social
Spl Arm Commander ... +1 Social
Spl Arm Captain ... +1 Social
Army ... Auto Rifle-1
Army Lieutenant ... Auto Pistol-1
Merchant 1st Officer ... Pilot-1
Academic ... Computer-1
These are taken straight from Book 1 and Supplement 4, where:
Navy and Spl Arm = Navy (B1)
Army = Army (B1)
Merchant = Merchant (B1)
Noble = Noble (S4)
Academic = Scientist (S4)
I messed with the Army weapon skills to make them less "Imperial", but couldn't justify changing the rest. Also, the Navy (and Special Arm) are just as prestigeous in the Confederation, as they are in the Imperium, so I figured the Social adjustments made sense. For the Special Arm, I pushed them down one level due to its exclusive talent level. Navy, Merchant, Noble, and Academic are identical to their equivalents.
Also, note that the "ASLAN CHARACTERS" generation rules has an error. The Aslan education role should be 2D+1 like all Darrian citizens, not just 2D. (This is shown in the Advanced High Guard Generation rules.) And, yes, Darrian Aslan are wimpier than "normal" Aslan. Darrian Aslan get the "-1" on Dexterity, but do not get the "+1" on Strength and Endurance. Go figure.
Yes, it is kinda funny that you can be "drafted" into the Nobility, especial since it is nearly impossible otherwise. However, remember that Darrian nobility is non-hereditary, so getting "drafted" isn't actually ridiculous. The odds are silly, but the concept isn't
that outlandish. (Also note that all Darrian nobility is planetary. The interstellar government is bureaucratic, apparently without a nobility of its own.)
