EPIC Adventure #5 - Scout Cruiser is Now Available

Oh yeah, Baby!

This rocks. I particularly like the Bryan Gibson illustration on page 12 (of the Screen Version).

You made my Sunday night! Now there's somewhat less gloom as I face the week...

Thanks!
Dan

Did I miss the free TA offer, BTW? I didn't get the option to grab one when I paid for this (I don't recall using up my freebie before), was it only running for a limited time only?

Spotted an error in the new EA:

On page 19 - the "rumours" bit is repeated in the left column. Should something else be in the bottom part of the column or should it just be empty space?

Are you talking about the free TA issue with the Moot subscription?

Gah...

Uploading a fixed version now.

</font>[/QUOTE]Possibly... I noticed that last time I downloaded an EA I found that I had the option of downloading another one (though it didn't click in my mind at the time).

When I bought the Scout Cruiser one, it seemed that the offer had gone, because it only gives me the option to re-download the three that I've bought so far (Objects of the Mind, Merchant Cruiser, and Scout Cruiser).

Thanks for the file update, BTW. I've grabbed the new version, looks good.

I like this adventure. It's fun, it looks easy to run, it's reasonably complete (no "GM homework assignments" like EA1-4), and my PCs are both scouts.

It has some rules issues/errors which are all fixable. I did have a few "credulity gap" moments, but I could change most of those to my taste. It maybe contradicts GtD about the difficulty of crossing the Rift, which is more of a "canon" thing.

I will put this one on file, until I either get my game up that way or find a suitable place to transplant it.

GtD contains references to Deep Space Logistics supporting operations into the rift through (quote from QtD) "a chain of refuelling stations". Thus, I do not see any contridiction between Canon and what was written in EA-5 about the rift. I was following Canon by having a couple of refueling stations.

You're quite right, Michael. I confused it with something else. Sorry.

I wonder why they don't show the refuelling stations on the maps... ISTR that the Regency Sourcebook for TNE showed the calibration points on the subsector maps (which are basically the same sort of thing as the deep space refuelling stations).

Mainly to allow Referees to fiddle about and generally put them where they want them.

A general EPIC question - how exactly do I order these (and yes, I do have a feeling that others have asked this, but hey, they weren't me.)?

Click on eLibrary, right at the top of the page.
Go to the EPIC Adventures menu option on the left hand side. Click on the current issue or previous issues.
Click on the issue that takes your fancy.
Click on add to cart.
When you've ordered all the ones you want click on checkout.
Follow the on screen instructions.

On completion of payment you are emailed a link to dowmload your order, or you can log into your elibrary account to download them.

Hope this helps.

Thank you! Do the orders run out after a time (I'm thinking of getting these as holiday presents and don't want to order too early)?
