Here is my 2 credits on the "look and feel" of the pages...

Overall, I like it. It is perfectly adequate, but I do have some suggestions that *might* make it better. I say might because, as I am sure you are aware what sounds good doesn't always look good.
Possibly extend the text box to include the title, maybe make it look like a tab, so there is no background texture behind the text. Also, maybe try a "lighter" font in the text box, one that has thinner lines such as the default Calibri that is in the newer versions of Word. It looks like you used Time New Roman, which sometimes can be difficult to read when small (or poorly printed and small).

- Remove the grid behind the deck plan image and make is a solid color. That should improve it dramatically.
- Include a "standard" top-down deck plan that people can scale and print. This could be a separate PDF or something, but I know I personally would love it if all books with ships had those!
- Maybe remove the texture behind the title in the table?
- And the first row of the table, where the TL is listed, is a bit difficult to read. Perhaps the shading should start there, or use a light gray solid color (like in the requirements boxes).
Just some ideas.....
On a totally unrelated note, I would love to know how you come up with all the things in the d66 books (of which I think I own almost all of them). They are freaking awesome! My group has a blast with them every time we need to use one of them.
