Hi Guys,
I'm looking to create a mini-wargame not unlike that presented in FFW that focuses not on the Zhodani main thrust of the war, but the Lunion/Swordworld subsector conflict. While I don't want to make something that is equivalent to flip a coin, winner of toss wins the war, I do want to create something that is somewhat historical and whose results may impact on the main Fifth Frontier War board game that I will be running in tandem.
What I'm looking to do is use the rules for creating an analog of the original FFW rules set up, extrapolated over to the Lunion subsector and see what it produces.
Anyone have thoughts on the matter before I start? I intend to use the rules for determining ground force values presented in JTAS 10, and the planetary defense factors produced in IMPERIAL SQUADRONS. What will remain to be polished off is those "mobile" units - imperial and/or Colonial that will be participating in the defense of Lunion as well as the Attack on Lunion.
