First Edition (1977) Question

Since I long ago lost my first edition LBBs, I have a question for those who still do. In Book 2, were the rules for Maneuver fuel different from the revised second edition? I still have my copy of Judge's Guild Starships and Spacecraft, and the fuel tanks for small craft are decidedly different. Any info would be appreciated.

Small craft fuel: 10 kilograms (1/100th of a ton) for each G of acceleration for 10 minutes.

Starship power plant fuel is 10 times the power plant rating from the drive potential table.

Book 2, 1977 edition.

Hope this helps.

For those interested, in the 1981 Edition of the LBB, the small craft fuel tonnage given is good for 4 weeks of operation, with additional increments adding another 4 weeks.

Large ship fuel usage is the same, at 10 X Power Plant number, for four weeks of operation.

Also interesting is the fuel use table from Beltstrike: .05 tons per G per 100 tons of ship per day (several other situations are also detailed).

Tracking fuel use was a concept GDW abandoned early on.
