Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but LibriVox has a decent collection of public-domain science-fiction audiobooks on the Internet Archive -- including Space Viking and Deathworld.

I listened to Space Viking last month and it was a lot of fun, although the reader did make some strange pronunciation errors from time to time.

I am a big fan of SF audio books but I prefer dramatizations over machine text...that is something harder to find...however on the original side...as voice acting takes off with podcasting...it is worthwhile to mention http://www.darkerprojects.com/index.php as their blurb promises...
