Gateway Domain Map

One nice addition or something to download would be a map with all the sectors in it for the Gateway Domain. It does not have to have much detail. A map with little hexes that have a dot in it for the systems and lines for the X-Boat trade routs would be good. Just enough to give us a point of reference for the sector maps.

Hmmm. So that explains where I got the Domain map from before. But now it's not on the site.

I was looking at the Ley Sector Map, and it looks like it was generated with the PBG codes with the BG around the wrong way.

Looking at Amikell (0101) with a PBG of 404 the map dosen't show a Gas Giant where there are 4, while Sikiir (0122) with a PBG of 210 shows a Gas Giant when there is only a belt.

I looked at the subsector, the sector and the domain PDFs and they all show the same, althought the other sectors seem ok.

Would someone else take a look to make sure I'm just not seeing things please.

We discovered the same during a T20 demo last night, so you are not alone in this. I haven't looked yet to see if it is consistently in error in the subsectors, or in the Gateway Domain PDF.

There was a problem with the script that converted the data to the maps that transposed the gas giants and planetoid belts. I thought I'd caught all the errors.

Damn.

If anyone else spots any more, please let me know.

Shane, do you know why there's a world on the Ley sector map at 2731 (Er, an amber zone), but the UWP isn't listed at all in the Gateway Domain supplement?

Were changes made to the UWPs after you created the maps?

The world, "Er", was in the orginal data I was sent but isn't int he Gateway Book. Hmm.

Spirit of Orlain (1510) Glimmerdrift Reaches appears on the map as "Spirit of Orla". I don't know whether this is a bug or a feature (unavoidable truncation to fit the map), but I thought I'd mention it in case it's useful.

From what Martin has said in e-mail the quadrant maps I sent you recently are all correct, but to be safe I'm sending them again now. Likewise the sector maps are fixed, but I haven't had the time to finish the subsector ones yet.
