I remember some Trav adventures in the Dragon.

I bought the boxed set with the first LBB's in '81 and I am in the 6-10 category of publishers I can remember. It was definitely up to what you saw at the local hobby stores really, not many teenagers back then had checking accounts or credit cards for mail order.

My FLGSs (One of which Cryton used to work for, and Peter Newman still does) had, between the 4, the following 3rd party publishers that I recall seeing for CT (√=I have owned at some time, ✪=I owned during my time running CT):
  • FASA √
  • Digest Group Productions √✪
  • Games Workshop (but only by special order) √
  • Judges Guild √✪
  • Adjutant √✪
  • Paranoia Press √
  • Group One √
  • Game Lords √✪
  • Seeker Publishing
  • QuickLink (only in the form of Joint T20/CT stuff)√
  • Cargonaut √

In addition, they carried for non-CT:
  • Sword of Knight
  • Comstar Games

Plus all the core editions over the years, including used copies of GW versions of the GDW CT books.

Unless mistaken, Hobby Japan did the Japanese language version of CT which was a boxed set.

Been a fan of HJ's monthly hobby magazine since the 1980s myself.
