GM Screen?

I'm brand new to Traveller, and I bought the 0-8 Reprint book. I must admit I'm a little overwhelmed by the various charts and whatnot. Is there a GM screen for Classic Traveller that I should be scouring ebay for? Has someone out there made their own that they would be willing to share? Thanks!

There is an old Judges Guild product that shouldn't set you back more than $3.00. Read Book 0 first and then we are here to help you with the rest. Traveller is a bit overwhelming but you are in for one hell of a ride once you get it.

Yep, Traveller is kinda hard to "master" or "grasp" for the newcomer, but it is, without a doubt, the best rpg I've ever played. And, I've played a butt-load of other ones.

You've also found the right version. CT is the best of any version of Traveller yet produced. I've played a bunch of MT, and I've played a bunch of T4...but CT is the game.

At least you landed in the right place.

When you have questions, just post them here. You'll find most of the folks around here pretty sociable.

I'm sure somebody around here has something like that. I seem to remember somebody asking about building a fancy referee screen, and someone mentioned they had many of the tables excerpted from the LBBs.

Or, as I've done, just photo-copy the pages with the tables and arrange them on seperate paper laid out as you like (I have one page for personal combat, one page for ship to ship, one for animal encounters, etc). Then you can write in your own modifications, put it in a plastic cover and your set. I also employ a three-ring binder.

The again, I also lock away all my Classic Traveller originals. I still need to include instructions in my will to be buried with them.
