Highport Section

One major section seems to have been bypassed, or only mentioned in passing - the HIGHPORT! I think some people mentioned it, but we need details.

One possibility is a series of highports, where the "world" is Glisten-like - an asteroid belt or series of them where there are no or unusable planets.

Another possibility is a deep-space refueling depot, with a good number of ice chunks dragged in for rift spanning.

Any comments?
 
Well, that IS a surprise! Glad you like it, TJ ;) . Any suggestions, people, or has someone gotten here before me?

We've mentioned the places where highport information needs to be plugged in (landing facilities, concourse, etc) but there isn't much actually in those categories yet, I believe.

I think it's a great idea to have a thread like this one specifically for Highports, and then the long-suffering editors can break it out into the appropriate categories.

Because I am blissfully disregardful of additional work for Liam and Shane, since I am neither Liam nor Shane...

Unless it was mentioned somewhere, I suggest having the starship design sequence use to build highports. Most highports facilities are already covered in the components. Everything else can be easily added.
